They have similar resumes. They both play in tough conferences. They both one a title in their 3rd year, both had a few other good seasons. Mainieri seems to normally have LSU in contention, but some of his post season results have disappointed. Miles had us in contention in his first few years, then a couple times after that. But his teams have underachieved lately. It feels like Baseball is going strong and it feels like football is going to stop the downward trend because of our recruiting and new blood in coaches.
