2017 will see LSU with a severe shortage of experienced TEs . This becomes an issue because Canada loves to use his TEs , often more than one at at time .
Foster Moreau has lots of PT but was never a stretch the field TE and was an average blocker .
Jacory Washington has been around a while and has yet to make his mark . Can Canada find some way to
bring out something in him.
Jamal Pettigrew redshirted n 2016 taking time to develop an SEC body . He's capable of being a receiving threat . He's still young . will,he be strong enough to handle SEC defenders
Which brings us to Caleb Roddy who made the transition from his more natural DE position .
He's listed as 6'5" 276 lb . While he saw limited action in 2016 he at least saw the field primarily in blocking situations . He's certainly got the size to match the SEC big guys .. what kind of receiving threat will he present ?
IMO Caleb will stay at TE due to the need . He must emerge as a dependable No.2 TE in Canada' s schemes
