As much as I disapproved of how JA went about looking for another coach behind Miles' back, and as much as I feel Miles deserves to be honored and respected and "not be done this way",
LSU must, and I mean MUST, follow through and get another coach. As difficult as it is to say that, LSU is making this worse now trying to fix it. The best thing to do is cut the cord and go for it now and get it all behind you. Otherwise, we will be right back here again next year dealing with the same crap. 3 million can be made up easily with the right hire.
A giant cloud looms over the program and it is affecting us in the media, with recruiting, fan apathy, etc. I for one, have NEVER been so uninterested in LSU football as I am right now.
Yes, a lot of mistakes were made, but LSU is making a bad matter worse by back tracking. And if you look at the longevity of the program, recruiting is going to suffer this year, and next (when they actually have the balls to do it), etc. We won't get a QB this year, and we likely won't next year with Miles being fired.
As far as JA, the man needs to be fired today. And then call me up so that I can come kick his ass all the way out of BR. The man is a joke. His work has been a JOKE. In fact, I don't know anyone worse at their job than this man. He has made a mockery of LSU. Not just with Miles, but with several very poor hires, and then handing out contract extensions to coaches that are not producing????
