it seems that Matt Canada values TEs more as receivers than merely glorified OL .
So who does he have to work with for 2017 ?
Foster Moreau will be the No.1 TE . He's not been targeted much in his career but when he's had opportunities he's been reliable . At 6'5" 260 he's a grown man
Jacory Washington . Hasn't been able to see the field . 2017 is now or never . Can Canada resurrect his career ?
Jamal Pettigrew . Sat out 2016 in order to develop further . May be the receiving threat that can stretch the field . But he'll only be a RS Fr in 2017 . Any contribution will be good .
Caleb Roddy . At 275 he's already big enough to block OTs . Is he the type TE that Canada is seeking ? Can he run and catch well enough to be effective . ? Will he remain at TE or move back to his natural DE position ?
Stephen Sullivan . One of those jumbo WRs that LSU has recruited recently . We know that he can run and catch . Could he pack on enough weight to be an every down TE
