Had a chance to see 4-Star cornerback Chevin Calloway in his spring game at Bishop Dunne last week. We talked about his plans to visit LSU as well as Ole Miss and Auburn this summer. He has a pretty fat offer list, so there will be some other stops to add over the break, but LSU was the first program he brought up.

I didn't get a ton of video on him during the game because Bishop Dunne has numerous recruits to put eyes on and quite honestly, his offensive teammates were smart enough to keep the ball away from him as best as they could. I did include one clip of him coming off coverage of one man to make a tackle on another in the tweet I posted with the story:
One thing we talked about that I didn't include in the story LSU's proximity to him and his family now, relative to other schools from around the country that have offered:
“(LSU’s location) helps their case just a little bit,” he said. “I’m not really too concerned about where I go and how far it is away from home. But a lot of players from Texas go to LSU, so it does help out just a little bit.”
