We all know LSU's recent troubles with SEC & other schools raiding the state for top talent. Last year, LSU reeled in some nice in-state talent, but ultimately lost quite a bit of top tier talent to other schools. This year, it seems like they did a better job of getting who they wanted, but the number of top guys in-state was down compared to last year.
Looking forward to the class of 2016, there is a ton of in-state guys in the Rivals 100. Has Coach Miles made the right hires to lock down the state? Or is it even possible with all the parity and aggressive nature of today's recruiting tactics?
Personally, I can't wait to see what happens a year from now. I'm pleased with this 2015 class. I think it's going to create a nice bridge between the monster 2014 class & what looks to be a loaded 2016 LA crop.
