Always good to look at history to get a feel for what the future holds. As they say, history does have a way of repeating itself. Really looking forward to the future here at LSU under 0. Strong resume.... beat teams with poor records in the Pac-12 and SEC as interim coach. Well, at least he didnt lose to weak competition... He did win some games at Ole Miss. 10-25 overall and 3-21 in SEC. Impressive QB development of long-time NFL players Spurlock and Schaffer from Ole Miss. Also spent a year w/ the Saints as DL coach before being fired. Wow, NFL experience! Did I mention he's from Larose. BIG PLUS! What else could we ask for as a fanbase.

Below is an awesome snapshot of his 2007 season at Ole Miss. Hoping for similar results for LSU in 2017 under 0. Hard to achieve these results but I know if anyone can do it, it will be Coach 0.

In 2007, Ole Miss was last in the SEC in scoring offense, turnover margin, rushing offense, rushing defense, punt returns, opponent first downs, red-zone offense, opponent third-down conversions, field goal percentage, time of possession and kickoff coverage.

In 2007, the Rebels went winless in the SEC for the first time since 1982 – 25 years. The Rebels, under Orgeron, ended the season at 3–9 (0–8 in SEC play).
