It was apparent that lack of communication on defense led to blown coverages similar to what we saw repeatedly in 2020
Here’s my question for the board .
Does the blame lie with the coaching staff who simply is not doing a good enough job of teaching
Or
Is it the players who aren’t grasping what’s being taught ?
This is now two years in a row
Our Defensive staff and DC are veterans and surely have had past success teaching communication
Likewise our players have been playing this game since they were in grade school , many are bright kids who have had coaching in the past
So which is it ?
