When Orgeron accepted the interim HC position there absolutely had to be some discussion between he and Alleva regarding his opportunity to get the HC job on a permanent basis .
The exact terms are unknown to most of us . But if Alleva even hinted that Orgeron may be a candidate depending on how the season went then it would be a travesty if Orgeron's team wins the last 2 , goes to the Sugar Bowl and then gets passed over because Alleva already has in man in mind .
What more could the man possibly do if performance on the field matters .
On the other hand if Orgeron was clearly told that he was NOT going to be considered no matter what then that's a different matter all together
