The dumbest part of his quote is that 75% (conservatively) of his football team would never be able to get into Stanford without football. The other dumbest part is the fact he just insulted the entire region of the country that produces the best college football players. This idiot just banned himself from every living room in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Seems like his precious Stanford education isn't serving himself very well.
