The immediate time out by Ed O at the 2:38 mark of the second qtr after the sack which left LSU with a 3rd and 7 was a complete brain fart. I am not second guessing after the fact, I said it was a bad decision at the time. Without the timeout LSU would run the clock down inside of a minute before running the third down play. If LSU picked up a first down, still plenty of time for a touchdown from inside the 25. If they didn't pick up the first down, A&M gets the ball after a made or missed FG with little time to score. Instead, A&M scored a TD with 21 seconds left on the clock. Gotta be smarter with the clock in that situation.
Did anyone else notice at the end of the first half?
