Rivals100 WR Devin Duvernay visited LSU in late-July and the trip left a positive impression.
"It was good. I went there long ago when I was in the eighth grade but it was good going up there to meet more of the staff and coach Ball. It was my first time being there with him and hanging with him. It was good. I plan on taking an official and seeing a little more."
Duvernay does not have a date for his official visit to Baton Rouge but he did mention scheduling it when Sachse has a Thursday game. If that holds true it looks like he will visit for LSU's match-up with Auburn on Sept. 19.
His latest visit to Baton Rouge gave him some time to get to know coach Ball better and he liked what he saw.
"Coach Ball, I just really like him. Ever since he got there he’s recruited me pretty hard. I like talking to him. We talk pretty often – like every other day. It’s just good getting to be around him and in the environment. It was kind of a short trip but it was good to be around him and feel the environment."
