IMHO, one of the main reasons the scenario, we are now experiencing, is coming to fruition... is the early NFL entries, lack of senior experience/leadership. Not sure the numbers, but off the cuff, more and more, it feels like Senior Day has regularly had sparse senior classes.
I know there are many reasons for the early departures. Some are positive, concerning Coach Miles' recruiting/development acumen. Some are legitimate loss of personnel, due to a variety of issues. Others are personal, to particular players. Some are just head scratchers???
But, my questions: is this culture of early entry, something that can be positively addressed?
Is this a fluke, hurting LSU, more than most? Is this something that can be laid at Coach Miles' feet? Will a new coach positively affect this trend?
Oh yeah, huge congratulations to this year's Senior Class!
