Engineering Employment

I know this probably belongs in the other forum, but I decided to post here since this board seems like the only board to garner any attention. I have a friend who has fallen on hard times after he has been laid off twice from Textron and another engineering firm due to cuts. He has a BS in ME and has been unsuccessful in obtaining employment for the past year or so. Would be appreciated if anyone has any insight or knowledge of companies hiring engineers or project managers. Thanks, Matt.
