This board due to just a few is becoming the Fake News Site. I see the Fake News Trend on here. Reacting to all the so call bad news when in fact the news is far from bad. If I would have followed MSNBC and sites like that I would have thought my entire portfolio and investments would have been gone with our horrible President by their analysis. When in fact the actual news is I had an amazing year. Fake News.
Now the real news.
We start off getting our asses whipped in Stark Vegas and the Xanax Boys start the melt down post. LSU is dead and gone. Football program is in a death spiral. Then the Troy lost and it is compounded the same few. It fit the agenda they wanted that Orgeron was a dumb Cajun coach and LSU and Alleva are morons. AND MAYBE THEY ARE. AND MAYBE ORGERON WAS A TERRIBLE HIRE. Time will tell. But objectively I am not seeing it as gloom and doom at this point. It appears Orgeron did not Vet his OC hire well enough. Not good. He has a chance to fix it. Good and bad. Partly what we saw in Stark Vegas was kids learning a new offense and the learning curve that goes along with that. Now we must open up in Jerry's World against a very good Miami team with another OC and a new offense. So I get the not so good.
But at the end of the day the team under Orgeron has played better and won more SEC games than the previous 4 years. The 2017 signing class looks impressive. The 2018 class looks good and surely fills some needs and addresses the roster problems that we have been dealing with for a number of years.
The football program regressed significantly since 2011. We did not regress over night and we won't fix it over night and no matter who the coach is it takes an entire administration supporting the effort of wanting to be a champion. If the leaders of the program don't fork out the $$$ and pay for the mistake and settle on hiring new coaches and invest in the program the results will never be what many of us want. Iam sitting back and watching. If you are a real fan stop the fake News meltdown and ease off the Xanax.
