According to The Athletic, Brian Kelly has made his first coaching moves.
A name that has floated around for a while now has been Notre Dame's Jacob Flint, and it seems that is the direction Kelly is going. Flint, the co-director of strength and conditioning at ND, has been hired to run the department at LSU, and he's bringing Zaviar Gooden, an assistant football sports performance coach at USC, with him as a strength coach.
Also, Brian Polian, another name that's been tossed around, is following Kelly to Baton Rouge. Polian served as the Notre Dame special teams coordinator.
