When Singer is on he is as good as there is in the country. They don't have a pitcher that has what we saw last night. Faedo may get a couple of innings on Wednesday but it's not likely he throws a bunch of pitches.
Singer's problem is when he can't locate his fastball. Well, he had very good location last night. Hell, his fastball was only running 8", I wonder why nobody could hit him. Do we even need to discuss his slider? Not sure Jesus Christ could hit his slider. With that having been said, LSU out hit Florida; they just were not timely hits. I'm encouraged that LSU will have better results against Florida going forward. LSU is in a good place pitching wise and hopefully in a better situation than Florida. Manieri planned for this exact scenario; which is why Poche was saved for Tuesday and Lange is not available until Wednesday.
