It seems that word " focus " or lack of it ,is the buzz word around this team lately.
We've heard it all. The WRs are dropping balls due to lack of " focus" . The penalties are rampant because of lack of " focus" . The breakdowns in the secondary due to lack of focus., same thing for the ST woes. The 2nd half defensive troubles are " lack of focus" .a punt returner fields a punt on the 2yard line due to lack of focus.

Poor performance are too easily brushed off as " lack of focus".

Are teams simply able to turn on their " focus " switch whenever they wish? Some teams simply don't have enough key players in leadership position that are able to get the others to " focus".

Why would players lack focus. ? Does he simply not care? Is he mentally unable to sustain focus for longer than a half? Is the coaching staff unable to get them focused.

How much responsibility rests with the coaches in getting their team focused.? IMO a lot.

Then again consider that Lack of focus may not be the problem after all for the mediocre performances to date... Any chance that it may by overrated talent, coaching .

If they under perform v S Carolina will " lack of focus " be the reason offered ?

My take .....WRs drop balls in games because game pressure overwhelmes their ability to do so ....it's called pressure . The great one thrive on pressure the others fail under pressure.
Penalties occur when OL get beat and the need to grab and hold .less talented OL get beat and hold . The false start because of the pressure of the situation is too much .
2nd half defense woes ..lack of conditioning of the DL .
Secondary breakdowns .....again they know their assignments but the game pressure causes them to make mistakes. Same for fielding a punt near you end zone.
