You may be disappointed. In my lifetime, these are the hires:
Some of this is by memory so bear with me…

Paul Dietzel - Charles McClendon (Already on staff)
Charles McClendon - Bo Rein (Up and comer from NC State - did not coach a game due to tragedy - cheaped out on Bobby Bowden)
Bo Rein - Jerry Stovall (Already on campus & required to keep Rein’s staff)
Jerry Stovall - Bill Arnsparger (Out the box hire initiated by Bob Brodhead actually paid more than Stovall)
Bill Arnsparger - Mike Archer (Already on staff - could have hired the Old Ball Coach)
Mike Archer - Curley F******* Hallman (Up and comer from Southern Mississippi- much of his success there Brett Favre)
Curley F******* Hallman - Gerry Dinardo (Cheaped out on several other coaches before hiring the Vandy coach)
Gerry Dinardo - Nick Saban (Out of the box hire and did not cheap out - completely credited by most to Mark Emmert)
Nick Saban - Les Miles (Up and comer at Oklahoma State - was not the cheapest but rumors and insiders favored other candidates)
Les Miles - Ed Orgeron (Joe Alleva was not willing to bargain hard to get Jimbo or Tom Herman. Already on staff and way cheaper at the time than any other candidate.)

So out of ten hires, 4 of them were already on campus. The others, including Saban, were considered up and comers from less prestigious schools and almost all were paid less than their predecessor, at least initially. So dreams of Ryan Day, James Franklin, or Sakisian are pretty much unrealistic. If we replace Orgeron, you are likely looking at either Mark Stoops or Billy Napier at best. At worst, Bill O’Brien.
