Thoughts on Gibson recruitment ..
..the kid was recruited and committed by Ohio State so somebody must see something there . LSU ,hopefully , has two top QBs in their sights for 2016. . Reaching for a talent like Gibson may be worth the gamble ...boom or bust?
There's talk of him switching to another position if the QB thing doesn't work out . His size , height suggests that WR would be his only option . The WR position is awfully crowded at LSU for a player that has NEVER played the position . Learning all the nuances of playing WR is no easy task for someone who is brand new to the position .
In summary he's a long shot to ever contribute at LSU . Yet the risk reward of signing may be worth it . If I'm going to gamble on one position it would be QB.
