Players like Rashard Lawrence, Derrius Guice, Darrel Williams, Will Clapp and many others too numerous to mention have played with minor to semi-serious injuries most of the year. They refuse to be sidelined, because they know that the players behind them are well below them talent-wise. They haven't played up to our or their expectations, but they are busting their asses for their coaches, teammates, university and fans. I believe we know that Guice would be killing it on the field with his speed, elusiveness and unwillingness to go down on contact, but Guice at 80% is the best running back we have on the roster, better than most running backs in the nation, and is sucking it up and giving the proverbial 110%.
I just hope that when we as fans watch from the comfort of our Lazy Boy Recliners, we appreciate the talent and effort on display from our Tigers.
