he himself should be fired. The way this is all playing out, it would appear that LSU has already identified a top named coach before this all started. If that is not the case then the top levels of the LSU administration are to blame for any missteps. At the end of the day, Joe Alleva is nothing but a puppet. Joe Alleva gets his orders from someone else above his head (namely the Chancelor and ultimately the Board of Supervisors). None of this happens without prior approval being given. Joe Alleva does not have athority to begin this process on his own. He is merely the face that is the "sacrificial lamb" in the eyes of the public. The real decision maker is not Joe Alleva; although he will get any blame should this process not go well.
