When, oh when, are our coaches going to approach recruiting and playing time for QBs by signing, developing and playing the QB with the top "processing speed" and then accuracy?? These guys seem so hung up on athleticism and a big arm, they overlook the most important, essential, criteria for a highly successful QB.

It isn't a matter of "smarts"...lets just go out on a limb and assume that all the QBs we have on the roster and that these coaches recruit are intelligent. The facts are - at least so far - Harris and Jennings are neither highly accurate NOR have they shown the ability to read pre-snap alignments and then "process" information and go thru read progressions quickly enough to make the right decision on the target. Maybe McMillan does have a better processor and is accurate...I don't know. But I do know Harris and Jennings don't -yet. Until this happens, we are dead set on be a barely above average team.

Examples: Joe Montana, Major Applewhite, Matt Flynn, Matt Mauck, etc. One doesn't have to have the freak athlete to win championships. Its processing speed and accuracy.
