The LSU offense may be more diversified and dangerous this year than in 2019 and give DCs more nightmares. This will happen IMO because of the two freshman TE. Cole Taylor is looking looking really good in practice. Both Gilbert and Taylor on the field at the same time on a series could offer more formations for which an opponent must be prepared. They can go from a legitimate 2TE set to a 3 WR, TE and RB. Or RB and 4 WR set to an empty backfield without changing personnel. They would have essentially 5 pass receivers on the field as in 2019. It could be a nightmare, especially in the red zone.
