I read today that LSU Athletics made a $17 million profit last year.
Was wondering what your views were on this.
Questions I have:
When was the last ticket price increase for football?
Given the money...can we get any type of Basketball Coach (men's or women's) for LSU?
Why can't we upgrade the PMAC with some suites for the inside?
What is the ATh Dept responsibility for facilities, fans, and programs with this type of surplus.
Remember this doesn't include TAF fundraising that covers most capital improvements and some scholars....
I'm happy for the surplus and we know they will give money back to the university. But I'm asked to donate, donate and donate. And absorb ticket price increases, etc.
