LSU extended an offer to transfer Albany defensive end Jared Verse, who racked up 52 tackles, 11.5 TFL’s and 9.5 sacks his fall.
In total, he has recorded 13.5 sacks in 15 games.
Verse will have three years of eligibility left.
He announced on Nov. 30 he would be entering the portal and the Tigers became his 28th offer since.
He recently visited Tennessee, Florida State, Houston and Syracuse. He also has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Oklahoma, USC, Florida, among others.
He recently told the Tennessee Rivals site that he wants to make a decision before Christmas so he could be ready to go in January. We’ll have to see if it’s too late for LSU or not.
