Had an interesting conversation with one of the top highschool coaches in Florida yesterday . It so happens that he has complete access to all Gator practices which he attends from time to time .
He noted that the loss of star safety Marcus Maye to,a broken arm this week is a devastating blow to that defense . Maye is a 2010 lb tackling machine who has 50 tackles playing safety making him the 3rd leading tackler .
He's watched that terrific Gator defense all year and said that in run support Maye is one of the best he's ever seen in Gainsville.
He feels that the run heavy LSU offense will present a real,challenge to the defense without Maye
