Here's a theory. Look at this quote from the piece on the hiring of Dameyune Craig:
"Craig joins LSU after serving on the Auburn staff as co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for three years."
What could LSU offer that tops what Auburn already gave Craig? My theory is that he has a promise, an understanding, that he will take over as Offensive Coordinator at LSU at some point. What else could make him leave his alma mater where he already has the title co-offensive coordinator? And I doubt it's about money, as Auburn can surely match any offer.
When Cameron leaves would be the only question in my mind. Probably after this season. Probably Miles will give Craig a big part of the offensive planning this year.
And I say, GREAT!
