Let's start with the not so good news, a source tells me that over the last few days LSU is trending in the wrong direction for five-star guard Wesley Yates. I've flipped my FutureCast to Washington -- where his uncle works.
Now moving on to more positive news for LSU: I've recently put in three new football Futurecasts going right for the Tigers....
I don't anticipate Cobbins or Johnson making a decision anytime soon, although, LSU would love to get both committed sooner rather than later. Both have time as 2024 prospects. BUT keep an eye on Isaac Smith, who I included in my recent projection piece. It's beginning to feel like this one really could go LSU's way especially with how the defense has played lately. It's been THE offer he's desired most.
