First, he may have made the dumbest moves of any head coach in NCAA history. Using his own cell phone and personal checking account..WTF Wade?

I think we can all agree that Tate and Woodwrd are pretty smart. I think all of this has been in the works for a long time. They just needed the Level 1 offenses to initiate their plan. Football is the cash cow and king at LSU. They will do anything to protect it. IMO, Will was the sacrificial lamb. I believe they cut a deal with the NCAA (who wanted WW very badly). I think the deal was we will take care of WW and you leave football alone and be satisfied with what we have done thus far. Win-win for both sides.

My take from Tate and Woodward's response - the allegations are serious enough against WW and his contract stated such allaegations would result in termination. But, they also stated they are not admitting to any of these allegations being true or at best, able to be proven true beyond any resonable doubt. They will fight this and it will be long and drawn out. From what I understand, Bell Self is on tape offering Zion Williamson 250k - he just received a lifetime contract from Kansas and nothing will happen to him. NC cheating scandal - nothing. Duke with Zion, Zion's familiy - nothing. Soooo, if any sanctions are placed against LSU it will be a long time from now and minimal. I think Woodward will and can hire from the same pool of coaches he would have available if none of this was going down. I am certain he has had plans for a while.

I am sad because I liked WW, love CBB, and loved how the program was finally trending in the right direction. But WW was knocked out of the first round of Cheating with the Big Boys.
