from me. This team's ceiling was making it to Omaha in my mind. The fact the played for the final AFTER losing Walker AND after beating the #1 seed with arguable one of the beast records in ever is a pretty damn good year.
Yes, I would have liked to have won it all, but man it was one hell of a ride. There are 10 other teams in the SEC and 164 D1 schools that would love the have been where we were.
We had a guy do something NOBODY has ever done and that was Paps hitting a homer from each side in the same game.
I am not a sunshine pumper, but considering f where we were after all those mid week loses, I will take this all day long. Sure we can punch holes in baserunning, not bunting and pitching changes all day but it was a damn good year in my opinion.
