Not one to report on rumors in regards to coaching searches, firings etc., but there’s this one that I believe could be more than a rumor.
I recall seeing Matt House mentioned in regards to the DC search on this board. Well, I believe this smoke to be worthy of a post. His name was given to me by a trusted source and after carefully vetting the info I found it to be a name we should really monitor.
If you’ve noticed, we elected to not report “breaking news” we’ve seen during all of this (Lincoln Riley, Brad White etc.) There was plenty of smoke, but it only felt worthy of a “report says” type of post. We mentioned Riley, but made it clear that wasn’t something we heard from trusted sources (avoiding the echo chamber).
But House feels like a post I should make, so here I am. I’m not saying this is the guy, but I think he’s on a very, very short list…
