PS: On a side note a good friend of mine works for the Troop A State Police. He is involved in always getting the visiting teams escorted around Baton Rouge for games. He says when Bama rolls into town the number of coaches and team personnel is more than double any other team coming to BR. He says “A massive number of white shirts they have”. Not sure how to use that as an advantage but i would think it helps. When Nick came to BR. I had the chance to get to know him fairly well. He was always thinking how to give the players more advantages from facilities to nutrition to psychologists, etc. He was also the type guy that More is Better. He recruited by selling he does more for your kid than the other teams would and he resonates with parents. He sells himself as the person that will give your kid the best opportunity to be successful and shows them all the toys he has to do it. He took his LSU days and put it on steroids at a place willing to give him what he wants. It took Lane Kiffin to show O the information on the Tigers for us to finally say we need more analysts??? Really. Nick is ahead of the curve and at a place where they are willing to write checks to stay ahead.
