2016 is filled with high expectations for this LSU squad. But the schedule degree of difficulty can be a factor in the final record . How does each 2016 opponent compare to those same opponents in 2015.
Wisconsin v Syracuse . Both road games . Few would argue that Syracuse is in the same class as the
Badgers More difficult .
Miss State. You don't lose the best QB in the history of the school and not take a step back . Traveling to
BR will make this game ....Easier
Auburn . The butt kicking that those LSU Tigers put on those other Tigers in Tiger Stadium surprised many.
A road test on the Plains has never been easy . Their QB play should be better . Losing Muschamp will
hurt . More difficult .
Florida . When LSU beat the Gators in TS they were still reeling from the loss of their starting QB . Treon
Harris played pretty well. He's off the team . They loss heavily to the NFL . Their QB situation will be
bad again in 2016 . They do get us in the Swamp. About the same.
Missouri v S. Carolina . The Gamcoacks were woeful as Spurrier had lost interest . Missouri losing Gary
Pinkel will hurt no doubt . QB Drew Lock has promise . Same .
Alabama . 2015 National Champs . Game in Tiger Stadium . They will have no problem replacing their
losses . BUT will they find a replacement for Jake Coker ...probably . Easier but not easy.
Arkansas . Replacing Allen won't be easy . Their defense returns intact but losses on offense were heavy.
No road trip to Fayetville is ever easy for LSU. Harder
Ole Miss . Best QB in the SEC returns. But the losses on the OL were heavy along with their 3 superstars
Freeze is not without talented replacements . But traveling to Tiger Stadium will make it ...Easier
A&M . Make or break year for Sumlin .. This a team reeling . Everything rests on the shoulders of Trevor
Knight . Chavis will have an improved defense if they are tough enough to stop the run . The 2015
game in BR had emotional things going on . Will it be reversed in 2016 when LSU visits Aggieland .
Harder .
So ther you have it . 4 harder. 2. the same 3 easier
