Many, but to be fair, many as to why he should be given another year. What I've been told there won't be another year, so ill stick to the topic at hand. First, this team over achieved for the first 7 games. Expectations grew bigger then the team could meet. Very young team, 1 turnover in 6 games, playing against backup Qbs and a offense that was perfect for hiding a weak defense. Problem is that when the offense lost LT, FB and TE, there wasn't any talent to replace the starters. Offense lost its effectiveness and the defense was exposed. New expectations weren't met. By reasonable football insiders this team was expected to lose 3-4 games. A very close 2nd is that a specific coach has become available at the same time as the above has happend. The fact that most of the BIG money boosters, that I know, have HATED him for sometime now. They will be no help to him. Perfect storm so to speak.
