With recruits able to take unlimited official visits starting this summer, I expect the list for LSU to grow tremendously. I do think we’ll continue to see the trend of out-of-state prospects taking OVs in the summer and most of the Louisiana recruits waiting until the season. That’s how LSU wants it with the occasional exception. But here’s a few things I wanted to pass along…
North Carolina four-star OT Ethan Calloway tells me he has scheduled an official visit to LSU for the weekend of June 23-25. Also has OVs set to Florida (June 2-4), Georgia (June 9-11) and Penn State (June 16-18).
Cornerback Cai Bates will also be taking his LSU an official that same weekend as Calloway. He’s a big target for Robert Steeples. I included him in my class projection piece.
Texas OL Casey Poe is also looking to schedule an OV to LSU. At this stage, I don’t think LSU leads for Poe but is still very much in the mix.
Other OL (that I know of) that have OVs in June: Marcus Mascoll (June 2-4) and Ory Williams, who I’m still waiting to confirm the dates.
Four-star WR Jeremiah McClellan locks in an official to LSU for the first weekend in June. Four-star WR Parker Livingstone tells me he will take an OV to LSU on June 16-18th.
Another DB target Joshua Lair confirms to me he’ll be taking an OV to LSU the first weekend in June too.
LSU CB commit Zion Ferguson has scheduled an official to North Carolina for the weekend of June 23-25.
