Jacob Phillips is one of the top overall targets on the board for LSU and he is now planning to take an unofficial visit to campus on Jan. 20. Phillips is expected to bring his family with him and it will essentially be an official visit in terms of how much LSU is going to sell the school.
Phillips and his parents were on campus back in the summer at the final summer camp in July and he was set to take an official in the fall before scrapping those plans amid the coaching drama. He has taken all five of his official visits so that's no longer in the cards.
