Julian Sayin wrapped his mini tour with a visit to LSU this past weekend. He visited LSU, Texas and Alabama over the past week and it looks like LSU made the biggest impression, according to multiple sources.
Many believed ND to be the leader, but it looks like they are in 5th position at best to me.
As it stands now, it feels like LSU may have nudged ahead of the others after what was described as a stellar visit by someone close to Sayin. Georgia is a real sleeper here and Texas has been in a strong position for some time. He appears to be set on the SEC and LSU knocked it out of the park during his visit, so they will be a real threat over the next few months. His commitment timeline appears to be around the September/October time of year, which is good news for LSU as they continue plugging away recruiting underclassmen at the position. It is early, but it feels like LSU is in the lead position right now, which is huge considering that he is a 5 star talent at the most important position.
