it appears that at least 3 and possibly a 4th ( if Mullen leaves) SEC W head job opening will come up
Even talk of Malzahn going home to Arkansas after being shabbily treated .
How attractive is an SEC W job considering the fierce level of competition ? Is it a coach's graveyard ? . Just look at recent examples ..Bielema , Sumlin ,..Chizick..all previously very successful but were unable to succeed in the SEC W enough to keep their jobs .
Even our own Les Miles . Imagine had Les and LSU been in the SEC E . Is there any doubt that Miles would still be the HC at LSU.
Take a young hot coach like scott Frost for example . Imagine that he had a.choice between 2 really great jobs like Florida and A&M . Both in SEC , both great recruiting areas , both with the best facilities , great , rabid fan base both .
Sitting in his place which is he most likely to accept everything being exactly equal?
Do ambitious coaches really want to be part of that meat grinder
