The principal defense for LSU's second half run offense was that it was designed to run out the clock. On the other hand a few first downs would have given the defense time to rest. We are going to regret this style offense as the year wears on and the defense wears out. A worn down defense especially if there are injuries, will cause us to lose games. Harris, I thought, played well and would have liked to see more of him.
