Granted LSU never wants to lose good players from Louisiana much less players that are in our backyard such as Moses and Allen.
But what if we replace those players WITH others that are MAYBE BETTER. Several analysts believe Gay is better than Moses.....and after watching film he may be. While maybe not the exact position you lose Allen and maybe get Chaisson who was given his 5* and is rated the 11th best player in the country higher than Moses, Allen, Stevens, etc.
So do we recruit the better player no matter where their location or stick to the local,guys for the sake of them being local. If you look at Bama they are signing less players from the state of Alabama then ever before in it's history. In my opinion the game is changing and the day of keeping a fence with no holes may be the time of the past. I believe you must recruit regionally and in some case nationally.
