Something needs to be fixed on every unit except filed goals at this point.
Kickoff team- big return to Eastern Michigan. We can't reach the end zone with the kick and opponents are starting at the 28. Weak
Kick return- DJ hasn't done anything at all or even shown sign of life. May be similar to Fournette last year running the ball in that the game needs to slow down, but we need production starting now. Put somebody else back there for a few, we need a spark, even if it is Mr.Forunette.
Punt coverage- Keehn has been terrible. Not sure what our other options are but we need to look at them immediately.
Punt Return- Sure White took one to the house, but he dropped one last week and looks very unconfortable making the simple catches. he has made better decisions, but still some bad ones. Pre-season I wanted DJ back there, now I'm not sure where to turn but there is talent on the roster. Oh, and try to block a freakin punt now and again. I hate watching our guys take 3 steps forward and stare at their protectors. Hit em in the mouth.
Guys like Keehn, Dural, D. Thomas, need to fear losing their spot or start playing better
