Les Miles showed college football that a percieved average coach (at the time) can win big at LSU. Everybody thought Saban could win anywhere. Many people doubted Miles would win big at LSU. Now that Miles has won big the perception of LSU on the national stage and the percieved potential at LSU is at an all time high. Saban showed that it was possible to achieve at the highest level. Miles showed that it was realistic to expect LSU can reach that level again. LSU has all of ingredients to be a top tier program every year. There is nothing they lack.
