While we all debate the merits of Etling vs Harris or anyone else, here is what I am excited about, even with Cam and Miles running the offense.
1. What I saw a possibility with Etling was the ability to keep the D from stacking the box.
2. Guice is good but Fournette running with out a stacked box is another beast.
3. Once you cannot stack the box but you have to defend Fournette, you have another mess to deal with.
4. Consumed with defending the run game and intermediate routs that Etling can hit rather consistently will open up some big play opportunities.
In short, just keeping them honest could be a substantial benefit to our Offense.
ANY improvement on O and a D that plays better than last year gives us a real shot at salvaging this year.
