@Luke Hubbard highlights three freshmen that had great opening weekends for LSU baseball this past weekend.
To add *Spoiler Alert* I just want to add that Steven Milam who Luke features in the article has really impressed me over the last couple of weeks. Dating back to the final scrimmages that last weekend before the season opener to opening weekend. He wasn't the most heralded or highest ranked guy that LSU brought in this season, but man does he really look the part. Watching him and the way he goes about things really impresses me. He's got that poise and confidence both at the plate and in the field and it just jumps out to me so much that he does not look like a true freshman out there on the field. This kid looks like he's entering his senior year the way he carries himself and he's been one of the most impressive freshmen to me during the preseason scrimmages and now going into the season. I think he could end up being one of if not the best player to come out of this class.
