SEC Rankings as of Sept 22nd - for the Gator Defense includes.
#1 First Downs Allowed - 11.3 per game
#1 Yards per Play - 3.88
#1 Rushing Defense - 55.3 yds/gm
#1 Passing Defense - 157 yds/gm (6 Ints by 5 different players)
#1 Pass Efficiency Defense - 82.9%
#1 Scoring Defense - 14.7 pts/gm (UF Offense is averaging 23.7 pts/gm)
#1 Total Defense - 212.3 yds/gm
That's good for #2 In the Nation in Total Defense.
At #24, LSU is the next highest rated Total D in the SEC.
Few believed me when I said that the Gator D would be as good as in
2012, and maybe even better, even with the D losses to the NFL. UF
lost 7 defensive starters plus backups. All 3 LB's, both S's, 2 DT's, 1 DE.

Clowney has only played 63% of South Carolina's defensive snaps this season.
Opponents are averaging 5.9 yards per play with Clowney on the field.
While opponents are only averaging 4.8 ypp when he's on the bench.

lead last week against Tennessee. He's closing in on two more career marks.
