I did connect with St. Louis four-star Ayodele Adeoye today following he and fellow four-star Michael Thompson's two-day visit to Baton Rouge. LSU was a school Adeoye has been talking to me about for a couple weeks - they have made a strong, early impression on him after extending an offer last month. It was tough to get a feel, though, for how this visit affected that first impression. He was pretty noncommittal when I asked where LSU stands now that he has seen the campus in-depth in-person. Coach Orgeron was a big draw because of his track record, specifically on defense. They met, sounds like they had a meaningful conversation, but did not get a sense that his impression changed too dramatically from where he was coming in.
I will have a full article out tomorrow with Dele talking about the LSU visit. He is definitely a big-time talent at that ILB position and his relationship with Thompson means the two of them could end up at the same school.
