this is a recruiting board and you the recruiting expert . You more than anyone knows the recruiting abilities of each assistant currently on staff . I'm asking for a candid opinion from you on each . No sugar coating it.
I'll offer my humble 2 cents .
Canada ..guys been on the job for only one day and he already having conversations . Too early
to say but at his age no reason for him not to burn up the recruiting trail.
Ensminger . Poor . On Most staffs the TE coach is an ACE recruiter
Grimes . Recruiting OL from La is tough since we produce so few . This forces Grimes to venture
out of state going head to head with the top tier teams in those states . Average
Juluke ..Akers is his first big test . Missing on Akers would not reflect well on Juluke
Average grade
Craig .. harvesting Mobile . Lost 2 WRs . Only one comit to date . Excellent if he lands Smith
Jenkins ...come on man. He once dominated New Orleans but that was too long ago to benefit LSU
Poor
Aranda .average or below
Raymond ..excellent
ST Needs to be excellent not just good .
Orgeron ...excellent if he lands Wilson or Akers Miss here and we have to wonder if recruits have reservations about him .
