Why can't LSU make up the McNeese game?

I think LSU making up the cancelled game would benefit LSU
I see Grambling has a bye week on Oct 31.
I know this is the week before Bama. But Grambling could get a big pay day and LSU could still prepare for Bama doing the two weeks leading up to No. 7th
Just curious why LSU couldn't and wouldn't make something like this happen.
