This is one of the more curious, less talked about decisions made by LM that lead to his downfall. Not only did he go "all in" on Harris when there was precious little evidence that he was the one, he didn't hedge his bet by grabbing one of the many senior transfer available. Word is that Saban has a full time employee monitoring the transfer landscape, as though it is free agency; in effect, it is. IMO it is another area of opportunity that just passed us by. And for 2017, it will be critical. Bama has a starter at slotback that transferred in from Bowling Green! Why did LM ignore this, and will CEO change the approach?
